Join us on August 24th and 25th, 2023, for Spiti Fest, our annual celebration of education and other initiatives impacts in the Spiti Valley. This two-day event will bring together supporters, sponsors, monks, locals, officials, farmers, schools, travel influencers, and bloggers for the program-packed days in Spiti.
We invite you to join us in Komic and be a part of our mission to make Spiti Valley a more sustainable and resilient community.
Day 1: August 24th
9:00 am: Arrival and Registration
10:00 am: Welcome Address by our Founder
10:30 am: Overview of the Foundation’s Projects and Impact
11:00 am: Tea Break
11:15 am: Panel Discussion on Future of Education in Spiti
1:30 pm: Lunch
2:30 pm: Community Service Project – Visiting World’s Highest Free Residential Primary School and Planting Trees in our school Greenhouse garden
3:30 pm: Visit to our local ECO Warriors center and appreciate the local products made of plastic waste.
4:15 pm: Interaction with Local Artisans
5:15 pm: Foundation Day Celebration and Dinner
6:15-8:30 pm: Dinner
Day 2: August 25th
6:00 am: Yoga and Meditation Session with our school children
7:30 am: Breakfast with the local children
8:30 am: Visit to Komic Monastery, World’s Highest Cafe, Langza village and 35-feet tall Lord Buddha statue, and World’s Highest Post Office in Hikkim village.
11:00 am: Session on Sustainable Tourism in Spiti
12:00 pm: Lunch in Kaza
1:00 pm: Visit the Local Health Center in Kaza
2:30 pm: Session on Women’s Empowerment and Vocational Training
3:30 pm: Tea Break
4:00 pm: Interactive Session with Travel Influencers and Bloggers
5:30 pm: Cultural Evening
We encourage all invitees to get in touch with us and complete their registration to make their travel arrangements in advance and book their accommodation in Spiti with us. We will provide transportation to and from the event venues during the two-day program.
